MESSENGER

MESSENGER is a hand painted batik art made on a cotton fabric using hot wax and batik color dyes. This painting was inspired by African messenger picture from the tribes when I was living in Zambia, Africa. The messengers in a tribe used to send messages to other tribe by tapping on the drums as shown in the painting. Once the art is completed the colors are set by soaking the fabric in hot water so the wax is removed and the colors are set permanent. It is framed in a black wood floater frame with a wire attached to the back for easy hanging and decorate a large room anywhere.

Please don't hang the the artwork in direct sunlight to prevent color damage.
